Editing

Turning one AI concept into a useful creative batch

Repurposing works when the core idea is clear enough to survive a change in format. Simply cropping a finished video or removing the middle can leave an ad with a promise but no explanation. Plan the variations around the story’s essential beats.

Identify the non-negotiable beats

Mark the opening, product introduction, proof and next step in the main edit. Decide which information a new viewer must receive, even in the shortest version. Everything else is a candidate for compression, not an automatic cut.

For a demonstration-led concept, the proof may be the most important moment. Preserve enough of it for the viewer to understand what happened. A shorter ad that removes the reason to believe has changed the concept rather than simply shortening it.

Build variations with different jobs

Create a small delivery matrix before editing. One version might introduce the problem, another might open directly on the demonstration, and a third might answer a common objection. These are purposeful variations that reuse assets while offering different entry points.

Adjust composition for each placement. Reposition captions, check product scale and confirm that important text is not crowded by interface elements. Review the final frame in the actual export dimensions instead of assuming the master layout will translate cleanly.

Package the batch for use

Give every export a clear name containing its concept, opening and format. Include a short note describing what changed and what stayed consistent. This reduces the risk of uploading the wrong cut or comparing versions that answer different questions.

Keep editable project files and approved source assets together so future changes are targeted. If the offer changes, the team should know which versions contain it. A useful creative batch is easy to understand, easy to deploy and easy to revise when the next learning arrives.
