A human-led AI production workflow

An AI production workflow needs decisions as much as tools. Without clear review points, a team can generate a large library of material before discovering that the central message is wrong. A small sequence of approvals keeps the work connected to its purpose.

Approve the story before the assets

Start with an approved brief and a plain-language concept. Write a short script, then pair each line with a description of what the viewer sees. The result does not need polished artwork. It needs to reveal whether the story makes sense.

Ask the reviewer to approve the audience, message and proof at this stage. A change to the core promise is easier to handle before production than after a finished edit. Keep unresolved product questions visible instead of quietly making assumptions.

Build a controlled asset batch

Produce the minimum set of assets needed to evaluate the concept. Keep source images, generation notes and approved outputs organized by scene. If an asset changes, the editor should be able to identify the accepted replacement without guessing.

Review the batch for product fidelity, visual continuity and usefulness in motion. A still image can look convincing while being difficult to integrate into an edit. Test important transitions and demonstrations early, especially where a generated scene must connect to real footage.

Review the edit in layers

The first review should focus on meaning: does the ad communicate the intended idea? The next can address pacing, voice, captions and visual details. Combining every kind of feedback in one unstructured list makes priorities hard to see.

Finish with an export check on the intended viewing device. Confirm that text is legible, audio is balanced and the offer matches the approved brief. Save the final asset alongside its version notes so the next round starts from a clear record of what shipped and why.
